1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BuildConnect, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use our service.

3. Job Postings

Employers may post construction jobs on the platform. All job postings must be genuine and accurate. We reserve the right to remove any posting that violates our policies or is deemed inappropriate.

4. Payment & Escrow

All payments are processed through our secure escrow system. Funds are held until the employer approves the completed work. Platform fees apply to all transactions. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. Worker Verification

Workers may submit identity documents for verification. Verified status does not constitute an endorsement by BuildConnect. Users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence before hiring.

6. Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the platform for fraudulent activities, to post false information, to harass other users, or to engage in any activity that violates applicable laws. Violations may result in account suspension.

7. Limitation of Liability

BuildConnect is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. We do not guarantee the quality of work performed by contractors found through our service.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
